Mount Ijen is located on the Island of Java, which is just west of Bali. Mount Ijen is located near Banyuwangi, which is the most eastern city in Java. Because Banyuwangi is so far east, it is very close to Bali and easily accessed via ferry from Gilimanuk ferry port.
